Terms & Disclaimers
Last Updated: October 2026 · Registered Entity: Knowledge Apex 3D Manufacturing, Surat, Gujarat, India
1. Manufacturing Scope
By submitting 3D CAD files or placing orders through Knowledge Apex 3D Manufacturing (or legacy identities GI3M / GI3M Printing), you agree to these Terms. We provide custom FDM/FFF 3D printing and rapid prototyping using calibrated Bambu Lab A1 Combo hardware.
2. Additive Tolerances & Surface Characteristics
Fused Deposition Modeling creates objects by depositing molten thermoplastic filament layer by layer:
- Layer Lines: Visible horizontal layer lines are a natural physical property of the FDM process and do not represent a manufacturing defect.
- Dimensional Tolerances: Standard tolerances on our Bambu Lab A1 fleet are within ± 0.1 mm (or ± 0.2% on long spans). For tight press-fits, hole tapping, or bearing seats, customers are advised to incorporate appropriate engineering clearance (typically 0.2mm to 0.4mm).
- Support Artifacts: Overhangs exceeding 45° require temporary support structures. Small interface marks where supports meet the model may be present following manual removal.
3. Material Suitability & Application Liability
Knowledge Apex provides accurate thermoplastic material specifications for PLA, Tough PLA, PETG, and TPU 95A. However, the customer is exclusively responsible for determining whether the selected material, infill density, and geometry satisfy their safety, structural, and regulatory requirements. Our manufactured parts are not certified for medical implants, aerospace flight-critical controls, or high-risk life safety devices.
4. International Customs, Tariffs & Taxes
For orders delivered outside of the Republic of India, the customer is the importer of record. Any applicable import duties, customs tariffs, VAT, or local brokerage fees assessed by the destination country's customs authority are the sole responsibility of the recipient.
5. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. Any legal disputes arising out of manufacturing transactions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Surat, Gujarat, India.
